Remember when fun didn’t need a reason?

Somewhere along the way, we stopped having fun.

Hobbies became side hustles. Weekends became catch-up on chores days. Play couldn’t exist in a world centered on productivity. We schedule “free time” now.

I’m here to change that.

I make art + experiences for the part of you that that never stopped playing.

Colorful reminders that life is richer when we give ourselves permission to participate instead of perform.

Turns out, a lot of us were missing this.

Introducing ART BLOCK, because making things is better together.

ART BLOCK is a free creative community I founded for artists and art-curious people with day jobs, busy lives, and a desire to make more room for making. We get together to sketch, write, experiment, and make friends—without worrying about whether any of it is “good.”

My Philosophy

Permission to Play

Somewhere along the way, many adults forget how to play.

We stop making things simply because they're fun.
We stop trying hobbies because we're afraid of being bad at them.
We stop gathering around games, crafts, and shared rituals.

My work is an invitation back.

Through nostalgic games, cultural traditions, neighborhood communities, and everyday moments of delight, I create artwork that reminds us that play is essential.

Play is connection. Play is joy. Play is for everyone. ♡
